The F8 Tributo pays homage to legendary models of the past, drawing design inspiration from the beloved F40 with its quad taillamps and a transparent cover showcasing a powerful twin-turbocharged V8 engine. Ferrari takes pride in its robust 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine and aims to maximize its potential in every way.
Boasting 710 horsepower, the F8 Tributo surpasses the outgoing 488 GTB by 49 horsepower. It stands as Ferrari’s most potent V8 production car to date, with a strong emphasis on the term “production” as it falls short in power compared to the more specialized 488 Pista or a McLaren 720S. The Tributo weighs in at 88 lbs.
The new F8 Tributo features an evolution of the 488’s 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine delivering 530 kW and 770 Nm—a 37 kW upgrade from its predecessor. Ferrari describes the vehicle as a “gateway to a new design era,” hinting at a potential release of a new F8 Spider in the near future.
Enhancements to the interior from the 488 model include a new 8.5-inch touchscreen display for the passenger, alongside the driver’s twin digital screens flanking an enlarged tachometer.
