TVR Griffith Review: Sharp, Bold & Powerful

In one review of the TVR Griffith, we came across a statement that rather summarizes all we may need to say. Here it is,
“To drive a TVR Griffith today is to experience that moment in your time machine when your hand slips on the lever and accidentally transports you back farther than you intended to go.”

This is not only an honest outlook of the TVR Griffith but also an accurate one too. It came right after the TVR Griffith made a comeback at the 2017 Goodwood Revival. Little were delays in production projected.

But what was interesting about this car anyway? First, it has an interesting history to it changing hands back and forth between Europe and Russia. Then it had the looks of a curvaceous queen!

Think of the sharp, protruding lines that contribute to an extreme aerodynamic presence that has been enhanced with excessively muscular sides and smooth rear haunches. Add to this a muscular hood carrying 5.0-liter V-8 underneath.

Then there is the big, wide-open grill that seems to demand all the air in the world. With that, you have a vehicle that is truly made to amaze and amuse.

A single LED unit provides light in the darkest hours while the channels below the lights should provide a breath of fresh air to the six-piston brake calipers that reside behind the custom wheels. Smooth cutouts in the lower corners of the fascia help channel air in the side intakes with refined smoothness.

Huge and deep recesses have been deliberately curved to contribute to this aerodynamic efficiency. Then there is the front-mounted exhaust outlets affixed just behind the front wheels.

Mirrors have been designed in a sleek style and shaped in the best way to prevent drag at high speeds. There are no door handles around meaning that somewhere there in lies enough tech to allow you into the cabin.

News has it that it might take a little longer to have the TVR on roads due to complications on factory building process down in welsh as a result of government support. Nonetheless, we are optimistic that sometimes down 2019, this car will surely make a comeback.
