Here Comes The Lamborghini LB744 Revuelto V12 Hybrid

## Lamborghini LB744 Revuelto V12 Hybrid: The New Raging Bull Flagship

Exciting news for supercar enthusiasts! Lamborghini has unveiled the Lamborghini LB744 Revuelto V12 Hybrid, marking only the sixth new V12 model from the renowned brand in the last sixty years. This impressive vehicle is set to succeed the Aventador, becoming the latest flagship car from Lamborghini and the first-ever full hybrid offering from Sant’Agata Bolognese, showcasing a departure from the trend towards smaller engines and turbocharging for efficiency.

Yes, you heard it right – a V12 engine! In a bold move against the industry norm, Lamborghini opted to enhance the existing 6.5L V12 engine from the Aventador, ensuring a hefty powerplant continues to grace the new model. However, the Revuelto brings some key changes to the table.

The V12 engine has undergone a transformation, now delivering an impressive 814 HP and 535 lbs-ft of torque, making it Lamborghini’s most potent road-going engine to date. The engine has been repositioned 180 degrees, allowing for optimal alignment with a newly integrated dual-clutch hybrid-boosted 8-speed transaxle located in line with the rear wheels. This configuration optimizes space utilization, with the hybrid battery now situated low and centered at the front of the vehicle.

In addition to the V12 powerhouse, the Revuelto features three electric motors – two front-mounted motors directing power to each front wheel, and a third top-mounted motor integrated with the rear transaxle. Each electric motor contributes 148 HP, aiding the rear-wheel-driven V12 in delivering all-wheel-drive capabilities to the Revuelto.

The combined output of the hybrid system in Corsa mode is a remarkable 1,001 HP, highlighting Lamborghini’s pursuit of Italian engineering excellence. For more subdued driving, the car offers a “City” mode, enabling full electric operation with 178 HP from the front motors alone.

The Revuelto proudly showcases its V12 engine, eschewing an engine cover to highlight its mechanical prowess. Active aerodynamics play a crucial role in the vehicle’s design, shaping various under- and over-body elements to support efficient airflow management. Notably, the exhaust system has been repositioned below the dynamic wing, allowing for an expansive diffuser design without compromising the functionality of the pop-up wing.

Stay tuned for a comprehensive review of the Lamborghini LB744 Revuelto later today. Despite the industry trend towards efficiency and electrification, Lamborghini continues to embrace its legacy of power and performance, delighting enthusiasts with this latest addition.
