# 2021 Honda Ridgeline Sport Review
This week, I had the opportunity to try out the 2021 Honda Ridgeline Sport, which has undergone a remarkable restyling to give it a more rugged truck-like appearance. Despite the changes, the vehicle still maintains its hallmark comfort and convenience features that have defined the Ridgeline.

You can still enjoy the comfort and amenities of a passenger vehicle, but now with a more truck-like exterior design compared to its predecessors. While the new model boasts several added features, it is available in a more limited range of colors.

## Exterior

The exterior of the 2021 Honda Ridgeline Sport has been enhanced to project a more truck-like aesthetic with a bolder overall appearance. The front end now appears more upright and features a squared-off design that complements the updated style.

– The headlights and grille have been squared off compared to previous models
– A power dome ridge on the hood gives it a more mature truck-like look
– A taller hood enhances aerodynamics
– Larger fender flares contribute to a more rugged appearance
– Gold 18-inch wheels with a unique grill effect create a distinctive look
– Black trim accents and black side mirrors are incorporated throughout
– HPD graphics are added to the back side
– Brighter LED lights have been installed
– Tires have been made more rigid for an off-road aesthetic
– A new bumper now includes short chrome exhaust tips for visual appeal
– A new sports badge on the tailgate adds a touch of sophistication
– These exterior improvements lend the Ridgeline Sport a more aggressive look, with the gold wheels being a standout feature.

The interior of the 2021 Honda Ridgeline Sport offers ample space compared to similar vehicles. Durable materials are used in the base model’s interior to withstand potential rough use.

– The interior features hardy and durable plastic for increased longevity
– Standard seating for five occupants in the front and rear
– All seats are covered in heavy-duty fabric for added durability
– Seats provide decent back support with a blend of softness and firmness
– Convenient seat adjustment controls within easy reach from a sitting position
– Higher trims offer power seats for enhanced comfort
– More front legroom compared to the rear seats
– Improved rear-seat and leg space
– Ample headroom for a spacious feel
– A roomy interior with good visibility around the cabin
– The inclusion of a standard touch screen with a volume knob instead of a push button
– Easily accessible controls on the steering wheel for convenience

## Engine/Powertrain

Equipped with a 3.5L 24-valve V6 gas engine paired with a 9-speed all-wheel-drive transmission, the 2021 Honda Ridgeline Sport delivers 280HP and 262 pound-feet of torque, typical for this vehicle.

With an economical fuel consumption of 18 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway, it is a cost-effective option for a gas engine.
