In the following video you can clearly see the driver losing control while accelerating out of the corner.
The F40 is powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 471 hp and 426 lb-ft of torque. The engine is bolted to a 5-speed manual transmission.
The engine is known for having massive turbo lag. However, power comes in heaps when the turbos do spool up. This makes the car quite tricky to handle especially when driving around twisty mountain roads.
Ferrari built just 1300 examples of the F40, which makes it extremely popular among collectors. We hope this car will be repaired and back on the road soon.
