Lamborghini recently unveiled its latest high-performance supercar, the Huracan Sterrato. This impressive vehicle was showcased at Art Basel in Miami, marking a new era in the world of supercars.
The Sterrato is essentially a modified version of the Huracan, featuring a raised suspension compared to the Huracan Evo, giving it a significant 43 mm increase in ground clearance. Paired with an all-wheel-drive system and an updated ‘Integrated Vehicle Dynamics System,’ the Sterrato is designed to tackle a wide range of terrains with ease.
In terms of design, the Huracan Sterrato sports a unique body kit that includes fender extensions, skid plates, roof rails, a roof scoop, and additional auxiliary LED lights to enhance its rugged appeal.
Powering the Sterrato is the proven 5.2-liter V10 engine, delivering an impressive 602 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, sending power to all four wheels. The vehicle offers different driving modes, including a special ‘Rally’ mode tailored for off-road driving. Lamborghini claims a rapid 0-62 mph acceleration time of 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 162 mph.
In addition to the raised suspension, the Sterrato boasts wider front and rear tracks for improved stability. It rides on 19-inch wheels equipped with Bridgestone’s all-terrain run-flat tires.
Production of the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato is scheduled to begin in February 2023, with only 1499 units planned for production.
