This Car Aims At Achieving the Best Downforce Possible
Ferraris’s first PHEV (plug-in hybrid vehicle) is reportedly under construction. When it is done and hist the road, it is poised to generate 769 bhp.
This is not all there is, for there are three electric motors that will bring on board a further 217 bhp. From the onset, Ferrari aims at scoring large with this eccentrically futuristic car.
An insightful approach has been given to the S90 Stradale setting it a quite above its peers. The aerodynamics have been cleverly laid out to garner as much downforce.
Sources say that this Ferrari, poised to be one of the most powerful Ferraris ever will manage 390 kg of downforce at 155 mph. To facilitate this achievement, the front has been fitted with Vortex generators, as well as a wing-section front bumper and two diffusers right ahead of the front wheels. This will help to generate front-end downforce.
When you move to the rear, you find the engine cover that features a suspended wing. Modern supercars are pretty fast and the Stradale is no exception.
Using hybrid technology to drive all the four wheels, this car will sprint from 0–62 mph in 2.5 seconds and 0–124 mph in 6.7 seconds. The top speed stands at 211 mph. Its closest cousin is the similarly modern Ferarri LaFerrari.
Even with all these outstanding specs, Ferrari aims at making the Stradale an everyday car. But it doesn’t come any short of a spectacular vehicle and whoever owns one will be in the lucky class of earth occupiers.
