The Audi R8 Sypder is one vehicle that every enthusiast should attempt to drive at some point in their life even if for a day. It is so much fun and got lots of specs worth experimenting with not necessarily for practical reasons but for the adrenaline too.

Nonetheless, it has several outstanding practical elements including a very comfortable cabin for experimental driving. An update on this car was done in 2018 saw the introduction of the 602-hp R8 Spyder V10 Plus as well as a newcomer rear-wheel-drive V10 RWS model.

With these updates came Audi’s smartphone interface as a standard feature across the board just as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The 10 cylinder engine combines superbly well with fluent 7 speed, dual-clutch automatic transmission to give this car just the kind of speed that is right for it.

In just three flat seconds, this car will smoothly tick at 60 mph. A feature worth special mention her is the Comfort vs Dynamic modes which the driver can interchange using a button on the steering wheel.

The comfort mode is indeed reminiscent of the name and in this mode, the R8 is smooth, calm, quiet, and collected. You will easily do a stop and go as urban traffic may demand.

On the other hand, the Dynamic mode sends the R8 on a frenzy. It is like a monster daring to attack and eagerly awaits instructions. It is here that the car’s abilities and capabilities are brought about the full throttle.

There will be no production for the 2019 model as Audi gets ready for a thorough update in 2020. We dare say though that even if the R8 had remained untouched, we would still fall in love with it.
