Upcoming Release: GMA T.33 by Gordon Murray Automotive

Last year, Gordon Murray Automotive unveiled plans for a new addition to its lineup, the GMA T.33 supercar. A glimpse of the car was shared in January 2022, but updates since then have been scarce.

One reason for the quiet on the T.33 front is the company’s focus on finalizing the production of the GMA T.50 hypercar, which has recently entered production.

With the completion of the T.50 development phase, attention may now turn to the T.33. Insider sources suggest that a “new version” of the GMA T.33 could be revealed next month.

In contrast to the high-performance T.50, the T.33 is positioned as a comfortable grand tourer. Featuring a tamer design without the iconic rear-mounted fan and a more conventional driving layout, speculation arises about the nature of this “new version.” While a track-focused variant seems unlikely given its GT nature, an open-top iteration of the T.33 is a possible option.

Expected to share the same 3.9-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine developed by Cosworth, delivering 607 horsepower at 10,500 rpm and 399 lb-ft of torque from 4,500-10,500 rpm, the engine will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
