Ferrari Purosangue SUV May Launch On September 13

The first official teaser of the Ferrari Purosangue was released back in March. We haven’t heard much about Maranello’s first SUV since then. We know the car will be unveiled next month, but Ferrari has yet to announce the actual date.

According to our sources, Ferrari is likely to reveal the Purosangue on September 13 at an event in Tuscany. It’s unclear if this will be a private showcase or a global unveiling. Either way, we will soon see the first production SUV from Ferrari. Moreover, it will not be called ‘Purosangue’, but is expected to get a crisp and catchy name.

Leaked images of the car have revealed a design that appears to be inspired by the brand’s supercar range. The headlamps look similar to the SF90 Stradale, while the rear reminds us of the Roma.

Under the bonnet, the Purosangue will be powered by a naturally aspirated V12 engine producing around 800 hp. Rumors suggest Ferrari might build a limited number of V12 Purosangue SUVs, and later models could use the V6 hybrid from the 296 GTB.
