Exploring the Three-Wheel Electric Car – Sondors

As the automotive industry embraces electrification, it is evident that innovation is not limited to major players. Emerging, ambitious companies are entering the scene and making their mark in unprecedented ways.

In 2017, the SONDORS Electric Car Company raised over $1 million through equity crowdfunding to develop a concept prototype. In less than a year, the Model SONDORS became a reality.

What makes the Sondors project remarkable is that just two years prior, they successfully introduced an electric bike that garnered significant attention.

The Sondors three-wheeled electric car is set to be priced at $10,000, offering customers the choice of 75, 150, or 200-mile range battery packs.

Featuring three seats, impressive electric performance with a 0-60 mph acceleration in 5-8 seconds (depending on the battery pack), and a direct online sales model with customer delivery, Sondors aims to commence vehicle deliveries in 2019, pending fundraising objectives and other factors.

The passion and ambition of the team are evident in the words of CEO Storm Sondors: “I know this is going to be hard and we will face many hurdles thrown at us, but I can tell you that I am ready for it. Everyone told me selling electric bicycles for under $1,000 was impossible. They said I would have to compromise on the quality of the components. They said many things. But I did not care, I went ahead and built it and sold it. And seeing the happy smiles on my customers means everything to me. I want to do it again. I want you to be an investor and join me in this exciting journey. Together we are going to change the world while having fun.”

This determination is admirable. Additionally, the Sondors electric car boasts an attractive design, featuring a sleek, curvaceous body with a distinctive spear-like tailgate.

By opting for a three-wheeled design, Sondors aims to navigate past various regulatory requirements. As the Chief Electric Officer and CEO explains, this innovation is poised to redefine history and is well on its way to doing so.
