The BMW 3 series has a strong reputation and is a key player in the sport-sedan category. Known for its impressive design, stability, and on-road performance, this car continues to impress.
The series comes with two main engine choices. There is a turbocharged four-cylinder with a 2.0-liter option.
This engine delivers 255 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, featured in the 330i model. Then, there’s the M340i with a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine.
It generates an impressive 385hp and 369 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. While they are rear-wheel drive by default, all-wheel drive is also available.
The 328i replaced the iconic 325i, which had a naturally aspirated 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine producing 209bhp. It has now transitioned to a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with an output of 239bhp.
While this may seem modest, it still outperforms many competitors in its class and provides a luxurious driving experience. The interior of the 3-series has been revamped to create more trunk space, now equipped with a hands-free opening and closing system.
The infotainment system is more user-friendly and responsive. It offers a 12.3-inch touchscreen display, digital gauge cluster, customizable interior lighting, and an overall enhanced ambiance.
BMW sedans are known for their minimal flaws, and the updates made to the 328i only enhance its appeal, making it a stylish and sophisticated choice for car enthusiasts.
