Aston Martin Vantage Roadster Is All Set To Hit The Roads This Summer

It is clear now that when Aston Martin finally unveils the drop-top Roadster, it will be a sight to behold and a vehicle ready to take its competitors head-on. This is expected to happen sometimes in the variant spring of 2020, but their prototype photos have been made public.

The prototype images the Vantage wearing matte black camouflage, and very much resembling the hardtop coupé variant that has been on sale since 2018. The Roadster retains the low sitting closer to the ground, wide stance of the coupé, and a couple of styling changes.

With the introduction of the new Vantage Roadster, Aston Martin has its eye on making a convertible variant of every model that is currently existing. Although technical details of the Vantage Roadster are yet to be revealed, it is likely to carry the same 503bhp twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 as the coupé.

It might perhaps go lower on performance because of the extra weight added by the folding roof and all the structural bracing. Aston Martin has cut a niche as an insightful carmaker able to capture the high-end consumer with attractively modeled cars.

This one promises to be even greater and even as the company pushes its SUV models for greater market penetration.
