Jaguar is finally going to reveal the production version of the I-Pace concept at the Geneva Motor Show in March. While we still have about a month until it debuts, Jaguar has released a batch of new photos of the electric SUV being tested in the freezing cold.

These photos serve as proof that the Jaguar I-Pace has been tested in temperatures as low as -40°F at the Jaguar Land Rover cold weather test facility in Arjeplog, Sweden.

“Not only will the I-Pace charge quickly enough for our customers to carry out their everyday lives, but it will also offer powerful and precise performance in a variety of conditions and climatic extremes. Allied with the versatile credentials of our celebrated Pace family, this will be an electric performance SUV like no other,” said Ian Hoban, Jaguar Vehicle Line Director.

Jaguar has also announced that the I-Pace’s battery pack can be recharged up to 80 percent in 45 minutes with a 100kW DC fast charger. Jaguar has yet to reveal exactly how far the I-Pace will be able to drive on a single charge.

The Jaguar I-Pace will officially debut on March 1.
