Remember the Ford GT? I’m sure you do, with countless special editions over the years, and people arguing about how they didn’t make it onto the list to be able to buy one while prices on the second-hand market stay relatively strong for Ford’s latest supercar, but we all know 2023 will be the final year of production for this low-riding V6 beauty.
And as a fitting homage and a send-off into the automotive history books Ford decided to do one final ‘special’ edition, and this time it is really something totally different, not a bespoke livery of a classic race car … the Ford GT Mk IV is a race car, as this one isn’t even street-legal, but fear not, there is also a Ford GT LM, not as extreme as the Mk IV, but the LM can be taken onto public roads.
