Christian Von Koenigsegg shows us another behind the scenes look at building the amazing Jesko in the enlarged factory, during a visit by Mr. JWW we get to see another glimpse of just how impressive these Jesko are, being a convertible, the windshield surround has to double as a roll-over bar, with the buttress behind the occupants almost as a bonus, even without a windshield fitted, that hollow structure is strong enough to stand on without it breaking, now that’s amazing.
At the time of recording the first production units of the Koenigsegg Jesko were being built, both the Absolut and the Attack, and while it takes about ten days to complete a Jesko, in the future that will be reduced to five or six days, Christian even mentions they would be able to completely manufacture a Jesko in just three days, but that’s without any delays due to suppliers, holidays, or bespoke parts for that specific unit, so in reality, they aim for one Jesko a week as a reasonable target by the end of 2022.
