The class of full-size trucks is one of those doing relatively well, competing fairly with mid-size and full-size SUVs. But folks who drive these cars love them. They love them because they can traverse the countryside and still be classy around the city.
They can accommodate camping luggage and still take the family for a fancy dinner. And there is a long list of why large trucks get several things right time and again.
The Nissan Titan has gotten fresh and rejuvenated for 2019. Things start to brighten it right from the front, where a bolder grille now sits. The front bumper is also all-new with nicely fine-tuned and striking headlights. Things keep on getting better and when you go round to the back you notice the unique tailgate plaques and totally different taillights.
You can tell it’s going to be a fancy car when you think of its nine-speed automatic transmission, going all the way up from a seven-speed unit. Suppose the only misgiving on this aspect is that the Nissan Titan is coming over with only a single engine option. It is a 5.6-liter V-8 that produces 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque. This is great enough to give the Titan good handling and ride quality for off-road capability and ruggedness.
Nissan further did a lot of work to make the cabin fairly entertain. First, the noise has been filtered significantly and the infotainment interface is yet one more thing to write fancy about. The Titan has been handed a standard 7.0-inch display in the gauge cluster and a friendly digital speedometer. You can be content with the 8.0-inch or pick the optional 9.0-inch central touchscreens. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are now standard and there is a bunch of more connectivity options.
