Koenigsegg showcased three hypercars at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this year. Representing Sweden were the Jesko Attack, Jesko Absolut and the Regera.

While neither of the hypercars took part in the timed hill climb, they did woo showgoers with demonstration runs. As you all know, the Jesko comes in two variants – the high downforce version called ‘Attack’ and the 300+ mph Absolut.

Both hypercars are powered by a 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with a peak output of 1600 hp and 1106 lb-ft of torque. While the Jesko Attack is designed to carve through corners, the Absolut is geared for top speed. Koenigsegg estimates it will reach speeds in excess of 300 mph and is a serious challenger to the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+. Another hypercar in its crosshairs is the Hennessey Venom F5. It was also presented at the event.

On the other hand, the Koenigsegg Regera is the brand’s first hybrid hypercar that packs a 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, boosted by three electric motors. The total output is around 1500 hp and 1500 lb-ft of torque. The ‘Direct Drive’ transmission allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 400 km/h (248 mph) in less than 20 seconds.
