The main reason why luxury SUVs have become so popular and part of our daily cruising is their versatility, practicality, and ability to handle just about any situation with comfort and ease. Among the most outstanding in this class is the BMW X1.
The X1 relies on a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that is able to harvest 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. It drives more or less like a sport sedan, an aspect that puts it way ahead of several sluggish competitors.
This is BMW’s smallest crossover but the refreshing updates it has been gifted for 2020 makes bolder and closer to the next level. It now has larger front grilles, renewed front and rear bumpers, updated LED lighting elements and slightly tweaked wheel designs. An infotainment set is now an 8.8-inch unit with navigation, moving up from the previous 6.5-inch display.
The interior goes further to become a more playful and enticing place. The X1 has been simulated with leather upholstery, automatic climate control, relaxed folding rear seats as well as push-button start and power-adjustable front seat.
Among the most exciting tech specs is the driver-seat memory functions and of course the responsive BMW’s iDrive infotainment system. Standard safety systems are also gladly thoughtful. They include forward-collision warning with low-speed automatic emergency braking, speed limit display and not to leave behind the lane departure warning and automatic high-beam actuation.
The BMW X1 is in a class that can easily get dull, even though there is so much to be grateful for. However, it is beautifully set apart by the amazing features brought by the 2020 update,
