There are some very juicy news stories and even rumors that you really pray hard to witness somehow in your lifetime. The direction the automotive industry has taken have so much in stock that you would want to forward the clock and get there faster.
When you think of the promised specs on the Ford Mustang Shelby, you really want to see it roll out as soon as possible. Ford says that the Mustang will get as much as 700 horsepower (522 kilowatts).
This power will come from a 5.2-liter V8 engine. Other reports claim that the Mustang will come with an automatic 7-speed dual clutch transmission, although we are living in a time when an automatic transmission is always a sensible option.
Other reports point to a very loaded machine with three modes available. You can drive the GT500 either on Weather, Launch Control, and Drag Strip mode. According to Mustang Chief Engineer Carl Widmann, the quite advanced Drag Strip mode-which is standard on the Mustang – gives you a balanced set of options.
Widmann said, “typically when you shift gears, you give up time. In Drag Strip mode, the engine torque doesn’t drop when you’re shifting. You get peak engine torque and horsepower straight through thanks to our new Ford-built 10-speed transmission.”
There is quite a lot of speculation out there as to what really this car is able to do or will eventually do. Nevertheless, there is almost a guarantee of great performance from the Mustang.
