As 2020 quickly approaches, automakers are keen to give us several signs and hints on what to expect. Some of the things we’ve seen are downright impressive and consumers wait for them with bated breath.
The Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Volante is no doubt one of the cars that will headline the supercar spectrum as we ride into 2020. But what is this car with a lengthy name truly like?
This car is the British automaker’s fastest convertible and will hit the 211 mph to mark on the speedometer. It sips power from a V-12 twin-turbo engine that takes in 5.2-liters.
With these specs, this car is able to give out 715 BHP 900Nm of torque. In addition, the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Volante will take no more than 3.6 seconds to sprint from 0-62 mph. To make things even juicier, this massively gifted powertrain is attached to a new ZF 8-speed automatic transmission that has been hinted to have shorter shifts for and smoother acceleration.
This version is a stunning masterpiece from the exterior design all the way to the interior. You cannot fail to take note of the wide grille at the front and a massive splitter below, sending immense airflow underneath the car for improved downforce and help to cool things under the hood.
The rear is also gifted with a wide double diffuser. Behind the passenger compartment, the company attached its revised version of the Aeroblade II system, which now accommodates the Volante’s foldable cloth roof. It is by all standards that are well-outlined car meant to compete dutifully in its class. Hinted to retail at around $329,100, this one will ultimately be a good one to pick things up.
